Denmark is home to the little mermaid, vikings, royalty, great design, fairytales, and the world's happiest people, and in 2011 the researchers and scholars who comprise the International In Sickness and In Health community will be there - we hope you will be joining us! This will be the fourth international conference addressing issues of power, practice and ethics in health care. The conference is a forum for international researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplinary and professional backgrounds employing critical perspectives to investigate problems pertaining to sickness and health in the 21st century. If you are a scholar in the fields of health, health services, nursing, medicine, allied health professions, social science, history, philosophy, or geography, with an interest in the scholarly pursuit of power, practice and ethics in health care, we invite you to join our community, attend our next conference and become engaged in the study of Sickness and Health in the 21st Century.
