CESA 2009 Conference Postponed Until November 5-6, 2010.
With
great regret the organizing committee of the 2009 CESA biennial
conference has made the decision to postpone its 2009 conference
scheduled to be held at the Hotel Fort Garry in Winnipeg, 1-4 October
2009. The current economic climate made it difficult to secure
funding from institutions that previously supported CESA, without which
the conference would have incurred a deficit. CESA is a small
not-for-profit organization that has only recently eliminated debts
incurred some years ago. In light of the current financial outlook, the
executive considered it to be imprudent to proceed this year given the
financial risks involved. The conference has been rescheduled for
November 5-6, 2010, and will be held in Toronto. We thank you for
your understanding and we hope that we can count on your continued
support.
