About the NCM Annual Conference & Satellite Meetings
Traditionally held in late April/early May, the NCM Annual Conference is the premier international conference dedicated to the presentation and interchange of research related to how the brain controls movement.
2011 Conference Information The 21st Annual Conference will take place April 25 - May 1, 2011 at the El San Juan Hotel, A Waldorf Astoria Collection, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Abstract Submission and Conference Session Guide The NCM Annual Conference provides members with many different ways of participating in the conference through the presentation of member’s knowledge and research. Members can propose sessions or submit topics for various conference sessions including: Panel and Perspectives Sessions, Poster Workshops, Technical Tutorials, Keynote presentations, individual oral presentations and traditional poster sessions.
Conference Timelines Updated and maintained on a yearly basis, the NCM Conference Timeline provides a list of key dates related to conference registration, abstract submissions, scholarships, satellite meetings and keynote speakers.
Scholarship Program The NCM Scholarship Program is designed to provide partial support for 10-12 graduate students and post-docs to participate in the annual conference.
Satellite Meetings Members are encouraged to propose special NCM Satellite Meetings (1-2 days) to occur prior to the NCM Annual Conference. Satellite meeting proposals must be submitted approximately 1 year in advance of the targeted NCM Annual Conference. Satellite meeting proposals are now being accepted for the 2011 Annual Conference. |
