Full conference registration fees include access to all sessions including invited and contributed presentations, workshops, poster sessions and the WSC Expo. Registration also includes daily coffee breaks and a ticket to the Opening Reception at the Royal BC Museum. Tickets to the Final Banquet can be purchased separately.

Conference delegates and their guests can also purchase tickets to the Seabird Film Fest, Seabird inspired field trips offered before or after the conference and a variety of 1st World Seabird merchandise items. Ocean of Wings: A festival of seabird films
Highlighting the use of film/video as a medium for communicating ideas in science and conservation, Ocean of Wings will feature a series of professional films shown during an evening performance on Thursday, September 9th. In addition to showing the films, time will be set aside for a Q&A session.

Field Trips
Whale watching, kayaking, seashore exploration, wine tasting and a 3-day retreat to a secluded West Coast research station, all featuring seabird viewing opportunities, comprise our field trip offerings. As a destination, Victoria offers many impressive and scenic diversions. Plan to arrive early or stay late to take advantage of the trips we are offering or to explore the region on your own. Merchandise

Pre, During, Post Conference Meetings
During the 1st World Seabird Conference it is anticipated many organizations or individuals will be requiring meeting space to host their own private or ancillary meetings. The conference itself will be held at the Victoria Conference Centre. To ensure meeting space can be allocated for these extra meetings, all requests must be booked through the Conference Secretariat. If you anticipate your organization will require meeting space at the Victoria Conference Centre before, during or immediately following the conference please log in and complete the Meeting Request Form at your earliest convenience. Space is limited and requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Meeting requests made after August 15th may be subject to a late request fee.
