Welcome to the 2017 International HBV Meeting Registration and Abstract Submission site. 

There are TWO components to the 2017 International HBV Meeting. In addition to the 2017 International HBV Meeting there will be a Satellite Symposium, "New HBV Antiviral and Immune Modulatory Therapies in Late Pre-Clinical/Clinical Development" on Thursday, September 7.  The Satellite Symposium program begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 1:00 PM. There will be three tiers of registration for the 2017 Meeting: Regular Members, Early-Career Scientists, and Industry/Pharma Members. 

REGULAR MEMBER
Regular members are scientists and researchers working for a non-profit organization such as a hospital, university lab, or research facility.

EARLY-CAREER SCIENTIST
An Early-Career scientist is a scientist/researcher with 5-6 years post-doctorate experience or less, who does not work independently, and is not the "Principal Investigator" on grants.

INDUSTRY/PHARMA MEMBER
Industry/Pharma members are those who work in for-profit businesses such as providers of medical services and products, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, and companies who offer services and products to academic and research companies and institutions.

COST OF SATELLITE SYMPOSIUM (Thursday, September 7, 2017, 8:30 AM):  "New HBV Antiviral and Immune Modulatory Therapies in Late Pre-Clinical/Clinical Development" 

This Symposium is included with meeting registration for Early Career Scientists, is $100 for Regular Members, and $200 for Industry/Pharma Members. 

There is an option to attend only the Satellite Symposium ONLY: $150 for Regular Members and $250 for Industry/Pharma Members.

COST OF 2017 INTERNATIONAL HBV MEETING (Sept 3 - Sept 6, 2017) INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 3, 2017
  • Lunch and coffee break refreshments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Meeting registration does not include lodging or the cost to attend the banquet. Overnight accommodations are discounted at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Please visit www.hbvmeeting.org for hotel information.  There are a limited number of discounted rooms for Early-Career Scientists, which can be reserved as single or double rooms at the same rate.  Please contact Polly Ranson, Meeting Secretariat, at info@hbvmeeting.org to reserve these discounted rooms.
