We are focused on ensuring that the pre-money valuations will attract investors. 9e attractive pre-revenue companies but with valuations ranging from $10 to $60 million have been turned away at pre-screening in the past year.

Being in the software development business for 30 years we bring knowledge and experience in transferring secure data over the internet. Vitrium has developed three distinct products based on a flexible software engine to address the multibillion dollar digital publishing market. Their patent pending technology provides content publishers with state-of-the-art data protection technology with the ability to collect a wealth of otherwise unavailable reader data, secure documents against misuse, and provide authorized readers with a user-friendly way to access content. Sales approaching $1 million per year. Experienced management team.

Size: Some of the largest software and computer hardware vendors including NetApp, Sun, Juniper, Symantec and IBM, increase their market penetration, reduce sales cycle time and save $ millions by using Size to provide 24/7 access to fully automated hands-on demonstrations and training for their products, over the web. Size has 80% recurring revenue from customers with signed annual contracts of $100,000 to >$1 million/a each, paid in advance. 2009 sales of $4.6 million. 

Health develops, delivers information & communications management systems for environmental and public health organizations, working closely with clients to develop solutions to meet client needs. Health's systems allow for borderless data exchange, with clients in Canada and in the USA. Health has forty (40) modules that cover a broad spectrum of systems and solutions, and our Aqua product is a low cost water monitoring solution. Sales of $1.8 million in 2009. Experienced management team.

XL Software makes neighbourhood focused websites that are the online, social media equivalent of a community newspaper or cable access TV station. Our platform gives everyone in the community a free way to showcase their products, blog about issues and engage with customers and other local residents. We aim to be the hub of the community, where neighbours can communicate and connect with the things that matter to them. Some sales and an experienced management team.

Polymer using a proprietary process, is able to divert and treat waste foam that would typically be thrown into a landfill, turning it into a recycled polyol. Polyols are the basic reaction reagents used to produce polyurethanes and are usually sourced from petrochemical producers.  Polymer's polyol can then be used to manufacture more polyurethanes, greatly reducing the reliance on petrochemical producers while significantly reducing manufacturing costs. Skin’s business model is to commercialize 10 years of nanotechnology research into the pressure sensitive rubberlike material called Skin. Biochemicals Inc. has been established to continue the commercialization of Sugar-to-Glycol technology developed by International Polyol Chemicals Inc. (IPCI). Technology proven in an existing 200,000 ton / year plant. Company will build small-scale, distributed plants to produce high-value chemicals from low-cost, renewable sugars sourced from the agriculture, biofuel and forest products industries. The products produced include propylene glycol (PG) and ethylene glycol (EG) - an $18 billion mkt. Experienced Management.

Mobi is an online self-managed service that enables merchants to create, manage and track in real time mobile coupons, surveys and ads. Merchants are able to link their own company Twitter and Facebook fan-page directly with their Mobizoo account. This allows merchants to publish their coupons and surveys automatically as soon as they want their content to go live. In addition, all content gets pushed out to Mobizoo community as well. Some revenue already. 

Enroute offers a business analytics and global transportation management software-as-a-service solution that optimizes routing and improves shipping efficiencies for companies that ship more than 1,000 parcels per month. Our customers recognise immediate shipping benefits including improved reliability, reduced costs, and enhanced quality and security of package delivery. Serial entrepreneur leads strong management team. Some revenue already.

River started in 2005 by world renowned Vancouver dermatologist, has a skin care line based on the anti-oxidant, antibiotic & anti-fungal properties of extract from Cedar Tree. Now 7 products for sale with ~500 sold/mo. To date co. virtual with 1 employee handling all BD, sales & operations. With market proof of concept and new experienced CEO, River seeking investment to build the company, grow sales, & launch unique sunscreen in 2011.

Indel discovers and developments novel drugs for difficult to treat infections, with a focus on the critical unmet needs of hospital-acquired and antibiotic resistant infections. The company’s proprietary drug discovery platform has identified hundreds of novel antimicrobial targets, and has the ability to identify small molecules to inhibit these targets. Pharm
is developing a (beta) Web 3.0 “Discovery Engine” platform that delivers casual, addictive online social activities.
